Stages before THE END of this world comes

Luke 2:10, 11 - Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.


The Bible gives a clear account of time right up to the end days. Nothing contradicts each other, if only one place them side by side one will clearly have knowledge of what to expect and be ready for.

In today's message we have Jesus giving the stages before the end come. You may ask how can you conclude that this is the stages before the end comes? Match these with those from the book of Revelation chapter 6.

Revelation 6:1
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Stage 1:
The period starting from Babylonian to Roman Empire
Revelation 6:2
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.


Stage 2:
The World Wars
Revelation 6:3-4
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Luke 21:10
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:


Stage 3:
The period of plaques
Revelation 6:5-6
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.


Stage 4:
The period of earthquakes, natural disasters, famines, sickness and terrorism (the period we are in)
Revelation 6:7-8
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Stage 5
The Day of the Lord's revenge - when the Catholic church will be bought down
Revelation 6:9-11
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.


Stage 6
The last stage - the Day of the Lord's Wrath (before Jesus' Second coming)
Revelation 6:12-17
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Luke 21:11b
11 ......and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

With this you will be not be deceived when people say the end is here, because the end cannot come until all that is written in fulfilled.

Jesus also said that you and I will face persecution for witnessing Him throughout theses stages before they all end.

Luke 21:12-13
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Also if you are aware of the difficult times we are living in you will realize and change your heart for only God can be your protector, provider and deliverer.


[ Prayer Starter ]
Lord Jesus, You warned your people of things ahead so that they endure with knowledge and faith, building patience. The joy of your coming again is what gives us strength. Lord we pray for all your sheep who are walking in darkness that they may walk in the Light of your Word. It is your sacrifice and testimony which saves us...

Matthew 24:13-14
13 But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24:34
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation [also means time, nation, age] shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
