Flow with God's Plan

Habakkuk 2:3 - This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Today, evil and injustice seem to have the upper hand in the world. Like Habakkuk, Christians often feel angry and discouraged as they see what is going on around them. Habakkuk complained vigorously about the situation. God's answer to Habakkuk is the same answer He would give us, "If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place". It isn't easy to be patient, but it helps to remember that God hates sin even more than we do! Punishment of sin will certainly come. As God told Habakkuk, "wait patiently." We must trust God even when we don't understand why events occur as they do. All things written in the Bible has to come to pass for the fulfillment of the scriptures. When we know the Word of God it helps to know God's plan, to be patient and flow in His work for man's salvation.

[ Prayer Starter ]

Father, we know and trust Your perfect will and timing. Help us to wait patiently for the fulfillment of your Word. Guide us to love the sinner and hate the sin. May we act always in love; even when we are frustrated and hurt by the world. May we always be looking to You for guidance, help, tenderness, and mercy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.
